Eat & Buy: Vigan Visit 3

Vigan offers nice food to visitors. Popular restaurants in the city always packed with customers.

Rib Eye Steak, Cafe Uno, Vigan City
Cafe Uno, Grand Pa Inn, Vigan City
Restaurants I've visited

Café Uno, Bonifacio St.
Famous cafe of Grandpa's Inn serves international cuisine and desserts such as the European and Mexican in colonial building with nice décor.
Café Uno is bustling and casual atmosphere. It is a good time for my travel in Vigan.

Rib Eye Steak, medium well done and large portion was great for 350 Peso.
Beef Burrito Wrap was quite dry, mince beef stuff should be better for 150 peso.
Oatmeal cookie and hot latte coffee were not good, not bad.

Famous Cafe Leona, Vigan City
Café Leona
Vigan's most famous restaurant, menus are available from local food, Italian to Japanese. I went for dinner because not comfortable for unpleasant smell from horses on daytime. Kalesa station is located opposite the building.

After spending time reading the long list of food and waited for busy waiters serving a hundred of customers. I ordered Tempura Set and Green Apple Tea (310 Peso). The food was not bad but I didn't enjoy eating in the extension part of restaurant. It seems I was sitting in the storage.

Beautiful Vigan Style Building & Fast Food Chain
Wonton & Noodle, Chowking, Vigan City
Chinese Fast Food restaurant at reasonable price, not over 100 Peso per set.
Food was tasteless combined with long queues amid not fully function air-conditioners;
I think avoiding Fast Food is something should continue as long as there is a choice.

Calle Crisologo Street filled with souvenir shops, selling such as T-shirts, postcards and local wood crafts. Try local snacks such as Chicharon (made of seasoning corn) and Sugarcane for coffee. Basi the local rum are sold everywhere.
