Lunch at Thang Long Restuarant, Hue City |
Hue is the capital of fine Vietnamese food. There are a few yummy restaurants along the tourist’s area. Recommendations from travel websites are limited. They are focused around tourist area. I have found a Hue style cuisine by having lunch at tour operator’s restaurant.
On the old city side, I
saw some interesting street food that the locals were eating but I had to skip
to avoid the sickness.

Thang Long City Tour Restaurant
22
block, Vy Da district, Hue City
My Hue Day Tour operator (Thang
Long City Tour) serves their customers buffet lunch at this restaurant. It is
not located in city centre. The foods were excellence. There were varieties of
Vietnamese cuisine, fresh, clean, hot and delicious. The vibe was modern with
Vietnamese twist and airy. I definitely recommend.
Thang Long City Tour
office is on Le Loi Street in Hue city, easy to contact them there.
Dinner at Confetti, Hue City |
Confetti
Cau Van An Sreet
I had Vietnamese dinner
with some vegetarian dishes. The taste were pretty good, the waiters were
polite and served the food western style. The clients were all foreigners. I
have one question why do the restaurant named Italian….confetti?
Little Italy Restaurant
Vo Thi Sau Street
I ordered pizza and a
glass of cocktail. The pizza was nice but cocktail was not impressive.
Throughout my Vietnam journey, it was not often to have decent Western dishes.
