Presentation in UNESCO World Heritage Exhibition Building
I intended to explore Khao Pakdee nature trail, which takes about 2hrs on the 3km climbing from ground level to the ridge, pass the spot that wildlife come to eat salt marsh through the forest and finish the trail at Tab Salao creek. Unfortunately, a weather condition was not suitable, cloudy, on and off drizzle so I decided to cancel the plan. Perfect time is at late summer which the leaves changing color.

Knowing Mr. Sueb Nakhasathien
Sueb Nakhasathien served as Chief Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary, he dedicated to forest conservation and research, played major role in protecting Huai Kha Khaeng forest from concession, dam construction, wildlife hunting and all type of abuse. After the submission of Huai Kha Khaeng to UNESCO for World Heritage list in June 1990, Sueb committed suicide in September at his home in Huai Kha Khaeng due to hopeless for heritage protection. Finally, Huai Kha Khaeng has been inscribed as World Heritage in 1991.

His death shocked Thai society and caused an awareness of the value of natural heritage to cherish and appreciate it immensely. So the Western Forest Complex, the largest in Southeast Asia has been well protected and care until today.
