9 Nights 10 Days 2
Islands 3 World Heritage Sites
Pura Ulun Danu Bratan - Temple by the Lake, Bali |
Indonesia is one of the largest countries and comprised of over 10,000 islands. Visiting Indonesia for 10 days is just a little opportunity for instilling the touch of the land of diversity and multi-cultural heritages. World Heritage Sites are so wonderful and impressive.
I visited 2 main
islands from nearly 10 significant islands. Traveling throughout the largest
Islamic country is a bit difficult from its geographic location. Thanks for the
popularity of low cost airlines which flying to many destinations across this
archipelago and Southeast Asia region.
This is a list of
UNESCO World Heritage sites I've visited, as following.
Cultural Landscape of
Bali Province, Bali Island
Borobudur Temple
Compounds, Central Java
Prambanan Temple
Compounds, Central Java
Cities, towns and
villages I've visited.
Ubud and nearby
villages, Seminyak and nearby beaches, and Yokyakarta
The World Heritage sites
on Central Java I missed on this journey was Sangiran Early Man Site, not far
from Solo. There are 5 WHSs in Indonesia from 8 I haven’t been there.
